Dublin Digital Radio needs your help for a new studio
The independent online station has been an important alternative media platform and now it needs your help.
In light of the current venue’s uncertain future it’s a critical time for Dublin Digital Radio. They launched their Fund:it campaign to raise €15,000 to build a new soundproof studio at The Complex, Arran Street East, Dublin 7.

Respected Dublin street wear store set to close
Ireland’s only Nike Lab partner to shut after a number of years trading.
Respected streetwear store nowhere.ie revealed in an instagram post earlier this week that it would be shutting imminently. Supplying Dublin and beyond with a wide range of rare pieces and kicks since 2014 it will be a huge miss in the streetwear scene. There is no confirmation of the store’s final day as of yet however there is currently a closing sale on site and opening hours will be limited.

Subtle isn’t a word that you would associate with the hilarious antics of Dundalk’s TPM. Unashamedly themselves, they show no fear in their punk-fuelled lyricism and routinely caused riotous responses across a number of festival dates this Summer.

SafeHaus curate mega line-up of hip hop & electronic to raise money for the homeless
Wigwam will be subject to a full venue take over next month in order to raise funds for a worthy cause. SafeHaus are raising money for those without homes, and aim to reach a target of €4,000 with all proceeds going to ICHH.
South Dublin City Council have immediate plans to increase the seating capacity of Shamrock Rover’s ground to 10,000. Following impending branding and advertising analysis Tallaght Stadium is also set to get a high end corporate area. These renovations are part of a push to enable the stadium to be suitable for live music, community events and festivals.

You may have seen his name on the billing for slowthai‘s European tour, his work with Lord Apex or listened to his monthly NTS show. London producer p-rallel is steadily building a reputation as one of the best producers in the capital’s underground scene. Working alongside his Elevation/Meditation crew, there is currently a definite buzz surrounding the young production maestro’s work.
We caught up with p-rallel to talk drawing influence from Soundcloud, his days as a dancer and what he is listening to now.

The Bernard Shaw is here to stay
Just a few weeks ago it was revealed that The Bernard Shaw would be closing its doors. Subsequently they announced it would be relocating to the North side of the city and it was widely believed that the new venue would be called Racket, signalling perhaps a new direction from Bodytonic.
However we had a sneak peak at the new venue in Phibsborough and can exclusively confirm the new venue will retain the name of the current space.

Kanye stalls ‘Jesus Is King’ release… again
Having announced physical releases and premiering the film in the Los Angeles Forum fans everywhere finally thought they were getting Ye’s ninth studio album. However the release of his latest album was halted once again.
However this was followed by the release of the album later on Friday.
