Watch Uly perform ‘Burnin’ Up’ live on site at KnockanStockan

KnockanStockan have linked up with Collective Dublin to record some performances on site at the festival in the run up to July 19-22. One of our favourite new artists performs a track below, complete with bird and forest noises…

Next month KnockanStockan will return to their site overlooking the Blessington Lakes, and the crew have already arrived on site to begin building the special independent festival. The line up is stacked with Irish talent, proving that while it’s great to have big names touching down here each summer, sometimes what you need is already on your doorstep.

While they’re on site, they’ve recruited film-makers Collective Dublin to invite some of the many artists down before things kick off for some intimate live sessions.

Last Friday Uly released ‘pak it in // mama’, a three-track EP which was the follow up to his single ‘redlight‘ which came out earlier in the year. For this live session he performs a pared-back, soulful rendition of ‘Burnin’ Up’ ahead of his set at the Faerie Field stage on Saturday July 20.
