On 30 April we announced the launch of A New Normal, an open call in partnership with our friends at PhotoIreland and Junior Magazine. This Open Call was created in response to an unprecedented event in any of our life-times. We all became temporarily stuck within our homes and isolated from our friends family.

We believed that photography is a medium that has the power to transform the banal, the ordinary and even the boring into something worth caring about. We are delighted with the submissions that we received. People from all over the globe were charitable in giving us a glimpse into their new normalities. These photographers found moments of joy and hope in times of boredom and dread. Many showed great inspiration in transforming their environment into magical scenes. The standard of submissions was incredibly high and therefore the process of selection was incredibly difficult.
