Frank is creating a film adaptation of Vladimir Nabokov’s 1932 novel ‘Laughter In The Dark’. Anya Taylor-Joy is set to star in the film.
‘Laughter In The Dark’ is about a middle-aged art critic named Albert Albinus. He has an affair with a 17-year-old aspiring actress, Margot Peters, who works at the local cinema.
Vladimir Nabokov’s most famous novel was ‘Lolita’, which shares similar themes as ‘Laughter In The Dark’.
‘The Queen’s Gambit’ brought huge success to Netflix. It was named as Netflix’ most watched mini series in under 4 weeks.
