Words: Staff Writer

Is he about to release music or new hardware?

At the end of July, Crack Magazine pointed out the appearance of a red Aphex Twin logo at the Design Museum’s Electronic Exhibition. They noted that since then it has appeared in cities across the globe.

Novation’s Instagram shared pictures of the enigmatic DJ’s logo appearing in different cities across the world.

Since then, the red logo has appeared in Bristol, London, Berlin and LA prompting rumours of potential new music or hardware being released. Musical equipment manufacturer Novation has since said that something is coming on October 20.

Hopefully there will be fresh music with whatever drops.

Just over a week ago, Aphex Twin dropped music on his not so secret Soundcloud page.

2018’s ‘Collapse EP’ was Aphex Twin’s last official release.
