The art curated by Colm Weakliam will showcase at The Space Between on July 21.
Do You Dream is an exhibition based on the immaterial connections made in a material world. It is a “window into the majesty and interconnectivity of everything, a flip from the concrete to the universal.”
It is curated by Colm Weakliam. Weakliam is known for his art inspired by minimalism and geometric optical illusions. His work has previously been displayed at the Irish Museum of Modern Art and Atelier Now.
The exhibition also features Asbestos, who you might recognise from his “lost” posters scattered across Dublin. Other artists featured in the showcase are John O’Reilly, Shane O’Malley and Claire Prouvost.
The exhibition is part of Rupture of Plane, a series organised by The Space Between. The series focuses on the new types of human communication brought by the pandemic to create art, music, dance and other showcases.
Rupture aims to “dissolve the material, wobble the elements, and allow a glimpse of the true nature of things” through its exhibitions.
Do You Dream will showcase at The Space Between on July 21 from 19:00. Admission is free and tickets are not required.
