Body & Soul reveal first waves of acts including Princess Nokia, Kojaque, Khruangbin & more

The festival is staying true to its roots and promoting home-grown talent.

Body & Soul have shared the first acts to be heading to Ballinlough Castle this summer. Now in their eleventh year the independent festival continues to evolve, they’ve adapted the space to be more intimate and hinted at a few surprises.

A press release described the festival as “SMALLER. SMARTER. SHINIER.”

With that in mind they also stated that this year they’ve invited Burning Man Temple Builder Geordie Van Der Bosch to Westmeath to construct a 35ft temple as a centre piece to the festival.

Alongside this announcement they revealed the first wave of acts to perform this year, with a strong contingency of Irish artists. Those announced so far are:

Metronomy. Róisín Murphy. King Kong Company. Princess Nokia. Kojaque. Marc Rebillet. Khruangbin. Sampa The Great. Kneecap. Mango x Mathman. TPM. Jape. Daithí. Hare Squead. God Knows. The Clockworks.
