Caleb & Walshy recruit Shiv for the emotive ‘Lover’s Leap’

The duo are back with a jazzy new record and this time they’ve joined forces with one of the country’s most exciting prospects.

Caleb & Walshy have demonstrated their natural chemistry over a number of releases this year. First coming on to people’s radars with their debut album ‘Terminal 27’, the pair have refused to take their foot off the gas since. Hailing from London and Dublin, the distance between the duo has proved unimportant thus far when creating their jazz-inspired numbers.

Their latest release comes in the shape of a thoroughly emotive cut, ‘Lover’s Leap’. While it’s often said too many cooks spoil the broth, the addition of Shiv’s reassuring vocals is a welcome addition to a track bursting with character. One of the country’s most exciting acts, Shiv adds a comforting and melodic layer to the track that sits neatly on the glistening instrumental.

Possessing an almost dream-like quality, the trio have completed a soft effort that meditates on the imperfections of romance.
