District Magazine DJs to take up Sunday evening residency in Dublin bar
It’s kicking off this week. Also, there’ll be live MCs once a month too…
We got asked to takeover the South William laneway a couple of weeks back on a Sunday night. It was so much fun that we’re now happy to announce that the first three Sundays of every month, District Magazine DJs will be playing out the very best underground hip hop.
Resident DJs Cóilí Collins [VSN], Eric Davidson [RTÉ 2XM], Craig Connolly [The Building Society] and more will play each week. The third Sunday each month will also feature a selection of Irish hip hop and spoken word artists performing live.
Each week it will kick off in the laneway from 6pm and running until 11pm. It’s also 40% off all drinks, as if you weren’t convinced already.
If you’re looking to end your weekend with some nice tunes and cheap gargle, come say hello on the first three Sundays of every month.
We’ll also be taking over the venue for another big party on Friday September 22, featuring lots of live hip hop. Keep your eyes peeled for that announcement coming very soon…
