Kean Kavanagh shares rework of Coco’s ‘I Need A Miracle’

“It’s more than physical, what I need to feel from you.”

You may know Kean Kavanagh as one of the co-founders of Soft Boy Records, the man behind the decks (and often production) for Kojaque and Luka Palm, and the red wine wielding vocalist who serenades us live with ‘Eviction Notice‘ from Kojaque’s ‘Deli Daydreams’ record.

In December Kean shared his first piece of solo music in quite a while, with the contemporary croon ‘Coca Cola Sky’.

Jazz keys and distorted vocals, it’s indie/folk with a modern flair; exactly what we’ve come to love about the Portlaoise man.

“I think whenever we decide we’re going to take someone on or put out a project, it’s not something we jump into straight away. We want to meet people and see if we gel with them first. It feels familial because all the artists overlap… There are interconnections everywhere.”
