Listen to Hen’s Teeth discuss the Hennessy Sound Lounge at Body&Soul

“A weekend of auditory indulgence”, find out more about The Hennessy Sound Lounge at Body&Soul this June 21-23 on the latest episode of A New Era, hosted by Hannah O’Connell.

Recently Hen’s Teeth welcomed The Hennessy Sound Lounge to their Fade Street store, a place where vinyl enthusiasts and music lovers in general could enjoy “an exploration of the musical tastes of eight dedicated vinyl collectors who dig into their collections and take guests through a personally curated playlist of the tracks they love and are inspired by”.

Now they’re bringing it to Body&Soul.

Joining them in the lounge will be Richie Egan, the man behind Jape, bass player with The Redneck Manifesto and Choice Music Prize winner, the production half of Mango x MathMan Adam Fogarty, Choice Music Prize Song of the Year winners Saint Sister, recording artist, composer and collaborator STANO, Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson aka Fish Go Deep, Northern Ireland’s Eamon Harkin who is one half of New York institution Mr Saturday Night, Carrie Colliton who is co-founder of Record Store Day, and, on its tenth anniversary, Body&Soul Festival Director Avril Stanley and Music Booker Jenny Wren will also join in the conversation.

On this week’s edition of the podcast A New Era, District Deputy Editor and Spin 1038 presenter Hannah O’Connell interviews Greg Spring and Rosie Gogan-Keogh, from Hen’s Teeth/This Greedy Pig about how they curated of the Hennessy Sound Lounge and people’s enduring love of vinyl.
