Words: Dylan Murphy

Following the news that Hot Chip are the first headliners to be revealed for the 2023 edition of the festival, Beyond The Pale have announced more names.

Festival announcement season is upon us. Last week, Beyond The Pale revealed that Hot Chip are the first of a number of headliners performing at the festival in 2023. Now, they’ve revealed a whole host of acts for the second edition at Glendalough Estate in Wicklow.

The 12 new acts hail from eight different countries, with three of which making their Irish debut across the weekend 16-18 June 2023.

Acts include: Little Dragon who is set to play in Ireland for the first time in over half a decade ahead of their forthcoming album on Ninja Tune; Dublin’s Pillow Queens; British triphop pioneers Morcheeba, who have only made one other performance in Ireland in the last decade; Germany’s Booka Shade and Jan Blomqvist (who is making his Irish debut); Marie Davidson; Max Cooper, who is bringing his live audio visual show; Ballymun’s Bricknasty, County Clare’s Daithí; Dundalk’s Just Mustard, Fleetmac Wood and Florist

There’s still two more headline acts to be revealed and over 100 other acts.

Tickets for Beyond The Pale go on sale Friday 30 September from their website. Early bird tickets are available 24 hours earlier via presale, subscribe via their website.
