Mad Egg are expanding into Dublin 15

By Emily Mullen

You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs

Mad Egg appear to be aiming for a round dozen of branches, as announced their latest expansion into Dublin 15. Their new spot in Blanchardstown, will add to the list of wildly successful branches in Saint Kevin’s, the city centre and Dundrum.

The new branch, which opened on May 6, will be Mad Egg’s first dedicated delivery-only spot. The team wrote, “we have been on the hunt for a spot to cover Dublin 15 for months and are pumped to launch”.

The secret to Mad Egg’s success seems to be their emphasis on quality ingredients, the likes of free-range birds reared by John Smith in Navan and the use of amish rolls from Coughlan’s bakery. The treatment of the chicken is unique too, “we tea brine for 48 hours to make them super tender and juicy. We then double dredge the Birds in spiked buttermilk and coat in our-house seasoned mix for that signature crunch,” their website reads.
