Marcus Woods drops surprise EP ahead of album launch

A little gift from Dublin producer Marcus Woods.

Clondalkin producer Marcus Woods will release his debut LP on District Recordings next week. However, in the meantime though, the industrious young artist has shared a surprise EP. Check it out below.

As for his LP, ‘demo’, that launches next Friday October 19, with a launch party at The Sound House on November 2. Marcus will take to the decks to showcase his new project and play some bangers too.

Support artists include Max Zanga of Tebi Rex, Paye Fox and ARBU.

“The project is a fusion of ambient, experimental and trap elements into something not too avant-garde for my first major release; it’s quite literally a demo of new sounds and ideas in the attempt to establish myself as a household production name in Ireland.

”As for the show, I want to give everybody an incredible experience with the new set I‘ve got prepared. On top of that, the support line-up is going to be tops, it’s going to be a madness.”

Entry is completely free, but get down early because capacity is limited. Click here for more.
