Sampha steps into the spotlight on long-awaited debut record
For some time he’s kept behind the scenes and written famous hooks for some of our favourite artists. Now finally he’s stepping into the stoplight with his debut album ‘Process’.
27-year-old Sampha from London has one of the most soothing voices in R&B.
I’ve been obsessed with the singer songwriter’s solo work since he released ‘Timmy’s Prayer’. I fell in love. The musician is known for collaborating with artists like SBTRKT, Drake, Solange and loads more.
Rejoice finally. ‘Process’ is now out on Young Turks.
Sampha is touring but no dates for Ireland have been set just yet. I have a feeling he’ll probably be playing one of our summer festivals though so fingers crossed.
