Sloppy Pocketz (formerly of Dah Jevu) returns with new track
It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Dublin rapper Sloppy Pocketz aka Tafari Pesto, but today he’s released a new track entitled ‘Same Shit’.
Now based in Toronto, Sloppy Pocketz who was one half of Dublin rap group Dah Jevu with Bobby Basil has kept quiet since the winding down of the duo. However, he’s evidently been busy in the 6 recording new material.
‘Same Shit’ is his first release in two years and is produced by Chromeshrimp. A haunting and experimental trap-influenced creeper, ‘Same Shit’ sees Tafari rapping about the regrets of selling cocaine to survive and pay his bills.
