SloppyPocketz releases new video for ‘Way Too Much’

After launching the video at a party in Toronto, the Irish rapper and artist now shares his latest outing with the world.

Now based on the west coast of Canada, SloppyPocketz who was one half of Dublin rap group Dah Jevu with Bobby Basil, returned to music back in October with some new solo material.

Same Shit’ was his first release in two years and is produced by Chromeshrimp, which he followed up with ‘Inhale Xhale‘ in March of this year.

Now he’s teamed up with New Zealand visual artist Ashley Sutton-Davis for a new video for ‘Way Too Much’. Check it out below.

When he and Bobby Basil amicably parted ways, SloppyPocketz moved to Canada to get a taste of new cultures.

“I moved to Toronto last year to explore the music scene. I see myself on a pilgrimage here. My music tells a story about myself and my struggles I deal with along the way. I’m making music to connect with people who can relate to my story. To inspire them and keep them from hurting themselves.”

While in The 6 this is the artist’s main aim.

“That is my biggest battle, and hopefully through my music, they will gain some sort of comfort knowing they are not alone. I’m still growing with my music and plan on dropping my EP this year. Toronto is a great city with a lot of talented creatives. I will have visuals coming soon as well. Rest in peace Clara Berney.”
