Having produced the Stormzy mural, ‘Horseboy’ and another dedicated to Skepta among others, Dublin art collective SUBSET are a key part of the city’s cultural fabric.
This week they launched a new initiative that intends to produce a series of colourful murals across the capital. The initiative is named ‘Colour Therapy’ and in the midst of the current pandemic they hope it has the, “potential to serve as an antidote in these troubling times”.
The numerous public artworks will stretch across the city and bring a welcomed bit of vibrancy at a time that public art institutions are inaccessible.
They’ve started a Fundit campaign to help finance their project, with great incentives. You can get rewards ranging from an original magazine about the project to a guided artwork tour.
In a time where independent art is struggling and showcases are largely restricted to the online sphere ‘Colour Therapy’ is an ambitious and positive project. You can help fund their project and cover the costs of ‘Colour Therapy’ below.
We’ve launched a Fundit campaign for our Colour Therapy project. We intend to produce a series of artworks we believe can serve as an antidote in these troubling times. The donations will go towards covering the costs of the project. Link in bio. Sound. pic.twitter.com/FOmkax0oes
