Tame Impala & The Streets join forces for ‘Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing Better’
Mike Skinner & co are back with their first new track since 2011.
The Streets and Kevin Parker have linked up for a socially distant new music video. ‘Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing Better’, sees Mike Skinner try to bell Kevin Parker Tame Impala from a ski lift on a retro Nokia phone.
The track marks the first bit of new music to come from The Streets in nine years following ‘Computers and Blues’ in 2011.
The new track is the first song from an incoming mixtape ‘None of Us Are Getting Out of This Alive’. Many of the contributors to the mixtape feature on the video, including Greentea Peng, Jesse James Solomon and Ms Banks.
