Two Boys Brew Open Second Location Today

Milo’s opened this morning at 08:00 in Drumcondra Dublin 3.

The team behind two boys brew teased the arrival of Milos back in September, but the details surrounding it are somewhat of a mystery. The property was secured this time last year and announced on Instagram.

It is safe to assume that, like Two Boys Brew, Milos will be an Australian-style coffee shop featuring brunch and small-batch coffee from Root & Branch.

Two Boys Brew is owned by Kevin Roche and his business partner Taurean Coughlan. Roche and Coughlan lived in Melbourne for over four years and fell in love with the coffee culture there. This is a culture that has been hugely influential in the recent growth of the Irish coffee scene. Though we still credit Italy for its modern café culture the Aussies revolutionised it and invented the Flat White.

It has always had a focus on local Irish produce and developing flavourful recipes, whether they’re vegan, veggie or carnivorous. The spot is a favourite among locals and influencers and always garners a queue. We expect Milos to be similarly well received.

In August, Two Boys Brew was voted Best Brunch Spot by Dublin Live readers. In an interview with Dublin Live after receiving the accolade, they said of Milos, “It will be a different concept with the same standard in Phibsborough but with a more of a coffee shop feel to it.”

The Two Boys Brew also sells food products to take home, including jams, hot sauce, granola, teas and honey. They are open from 07:30 to 15:30 Wednesday to Friday and 09:00 to 16:00 Saturday and Sunday.
