Over the past week, people have been taking part in the “How it started: How it’s going” trend on Twitter. It’s been a wholesome way of showing what years of hard work and dedication can do.

Everyone from athletes to scientists have been sharing images from their past alongside a more recent one to put their journey into perspective. Artists joined in too and here are some of our favourites:
