This week is looking pretty sexy if the food is anything to go by. From the best cabbage you can imagine to the last of the summer burrata, this is a week to eat.

We’ve compiled all our favourite bits into a big ‘ol list for your convenience.

05

Typhoon Soft Shell Crab – Hang Dai

This deep-fried thing of beauty is made up of a light crunch that gives way to the buttery soft meat inside. The Lemongrass Mayo that comes with it sets it all off like fireworks on Halloween. Hang Dai have never shied away from the flavour forward and hear they diver a bombastic shellfish dish.

04

Sexy Burrito – Glovers 7

This team have created a drool-worthy sexy burrito using Fx Buckly beef chilli. This bad boy is as appealing as the kind of stereotypical man on a motorbike with a leather jacket you know will break your heart. Combine beef chilli con carne, homemade guacamole, jalapeños, sour cream, pico de Gallo, mature cheddar cheese and crispy lettuce, and I’ll come home with you every time. This time is no different.

Can confirm these taste WHOPPER

03

Burrata Plate – Nanetti’s

It is one of the best cheeses in the world. No one dares argue with that statement on pain of death. This manbun-shaped cheese is like like a soup dumpling fashioned out of mozzarella and filled with liquid cream. It is the kind of decadence you covet. The kind of dish you can look forward to all week, and it will not disappoint. Here it comes with a classic cured Italian ham and olive bread. That is all this little fellah needs to get me making a beeline for it this weekend.

02

Shitake Chashu Korokki – Nomo

Nomo have yet to put a put wrong. With these handmade Japanese croquettes, they keep that winning streak going longer than your ma saves her three stars scratchers up. These little ditties are made with rice, shitake and chashu served with kimchi mayo. They hit an effortlessly delicious level with that kimchi mayo is bringing some heat foshooo.

01

Kimchi Cabbage – Library Street

This is a staff favourite quiet overachiever of a dish. A simple side dish of cabbage drizzled with their kimchi sheep yoghurt and spiced dukkah. It is a textural delight with the char on the cabbage rubbing shoulders with the nutty seedy dukkah and coming up against the spice. This was on the table at a long lunch I attended, and we were all politely fighting over who got the last bite. Would go back just for it, though everything else on the menu is pretty special too.
