This year’s lineup of artists is absolutely stacked. Register to bid and explore the auction at auction.outhouse.ie.
On Thursday, 15 October, art lovers from across the country will get the chance to get their hands on one of 360 pieces of Irish art, with all proceeds from the auction going towards a good cause. Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre has just announced the launch of Arthouse 2026, bringing together a collection of art from more than 240 artists to go under the hammer.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Oisín O’Reilly, CEO of Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, said: “Arthouse is such an important part of the life of Outhouse. Every year, we’re incredibly grateful to the artists who donate their time and work, and to everyone who buys a piece and helps us keep our doors open.”
The launch exhibition will take place from 6pm to 8pm tonight at Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre, 105 Capel Street, Dublin 1, giving visitors their first opportunity to see this year’s collection in person. The auction will be opened by the iconic and inspiring Irish drag queen, LGBTQ+ activist and businessperson Rory O’Neill, a.k.a. Panti Bliss. But if you can’t make it, don’t fret. The full auction catalogue will also go live online on the night, with final bids taking place on 7 and 8 November. You can register to bid and explore the auction at auction.outhouse.ie.

What’s more, this year’s lineup of artists involved is absolutely stacked. Lee Welch, who has exhibited at the likes of IMMA, Hugh Lane Gallery and the Glucksman Gallery, will have a piece up for grabs. There’s also the incredible Gabhann Dunne, who won the ESB Keating Award and Silver Medal for Outstanding Artwork in 2024, as well as Dublin-based visual artist, street artist, poet and teacher Em Blake, who is known for their huge, politically engaged murals. And that’s only scratching the surface of the incredible variety of talent on display.

The likes of Yoko Akino, Hazel Coonagh, Brian Teeling, Shane O’Driscoll, Tom Climent, Carolyn Walsh and Neil Dunne will also have works for sale, alongside many more artists from across the country. There’s something for everyone, with the collection offering a huge range of styles, mediums and price points.

Every single bid will help Outhouse continue providing its vital support services and create a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community.
