A mini food festival opened up in Rathfarnham at the weekend

The new spot has a novelty giraffe and Eiffel Tower

A mini food festival opened up in Rathfarnham at the weekend. The Little Orchard opened up on Saturday, June 26th off Butterfield Avenue.

The new space has opened up on the site of The Old Orchard, one of Rathfarnham’s most beloved gastropubs.

The outdoor area which is described by The Old Orchard as an “outdoor family entertainment space”, boasts a large number of food trucks and pop-ups, including Gigi’s Cocktail Bar, Harri’s Street Food, Freddie’s Ice Cream, The Heineken Bar, BOX’D Coffee and Fired Up Wood Fired Pizza.

Little Orchard had a busy opening weekend, with customers flocking to the covered area to enjoy nosh and drinks.

“Long few weeks getting this ready, but finally The Little Orchard is open!” Keith McGovern from The Old Orchard wrote on Instagram, “fair play to everyone involved, a massive shift was put in to get this open”.

No booking is required for the new space, which is set up for walk-ins only, with a maximum six per table.
