A tiny owl was saved from this year’s Rockefeller Christmas Tree after he climbed aboard when the tree was chopped down. Workers were preparing for Rockefeller Centre’s annual giant Christmas tree when they found the owl.

The owl, now named Rockefeller, was brought to the vet with mild hunger and dehydration. He’s due to be set free soon.

This year’s Christmas Tree was grown in Oneonta, New York. It has been prepping for lighting at the start of December.
