The Green List will remain empty until further review by the Department of Foreign Affairs
From Monday October 12, Ireland’s Green List will update to remove all countries. Cyprus, Latvia, Liechtenstein and Finland are currently on the list.
The Green List allows people to travel from Ireland without having to restrict their movements for 14 days after they come back.
The Green List is constantly studied by the Department of Foreign Affairs. The next review of the list will be on October 15.
There will be no countries on the Green List with effect from Monday 12 Oct. Ireland continues to work with EU partners to finalise negotiations on coordinating travel within the Union (“EU traffic lights system”). pic.twitter.com/7YT6AT1Pg9
