Archy Moor heads to Korea and Japan in video for ‘I’ve Been’

Words: Dylan Murphy

The Dublin-based rapper goes east in the new visuals ahead of his debut EP.

Archy Moor doesn’t often stray from the shadows, but when he does, he moves with purpose. The District Future of Irish Music alumni, returned last year after a brief hiatus to hone his sound. He’s now teamed up with producer Earl Saga (Loyle Carner, JGrrey, Finn Askew) on his latest track I’ve Been’.

The visuals are also directed in co-ordination with Earl and see Archy move through the fluorescent lights of Korea and Japan during a recent trip. Taking the aspirational route, Archy, takes lessons from the hard times and takes a moment to zoom out and appreciate the journey on the new single.

Speaking on Instagram, Archy said, “Wrote this on the plane to Korea, day after we landed went Sony and bought a camera and we shot the shit while we was over there. This one’s special and I’m mad excited, this the last drop before Bonnie Hill, so thank you and let’s go!”

‘I’ve Been comes after the release of ‘Have It In My Hands’ and ‘Beautiful‘ in 2022 and ahead of his debut EP Bonnie Hill which is scheduled for release February 10.
