BERWYN announces intimate Dublin show and shares ‘RUBBER BANDS’

The BBC Sound of 2021 nominee is continuing his prolific run of form and gearing up for an intimate show in The Workman’s this November.

If you aren’t familiar with BERWYN, now is the time to get acquainted.

The Trinidad-born, Romford-raised rapper, singer, songwriter and producer has been steadily been rising up the ranks following the release of his critically acclaimed debut mixtape DEMOTAPE/VEGA. Since then, he placed third in the BBC Sound of 2021 poll and released a stream of tender and endearing cuts which resulted in a beautiful performance on Jools Holland which caught the attention of Drake.

Today, he’s announced TAPE 2 / FOMALHAUT, the follow up to his debut project which will land on June 18 2021, ahead of a UK and Ireland tour.

The news comes with another video for ‘Rubber Bands’ which provides another vivid depiction of his tumultuous journey to the UK. Speaking in more detail about its release BERWYN says the track ‘…shows a new side to the person that wrote 100,000,000 and I’d Rather Die’ stating that his newly announced project as ‘a room of many corners, and Rubber Bands is the first delve into one corner in particular
