Body & Soul Announce The Blaze, Fever Ray & more

Body & Soul have revealed further additions to their forthcoming summer lineup of comedy, podcasting and music.

Today, 22 more acts have been added to Body & Soul’s 2023 lineup. The festival is taking place on 16-18 June at Ballinlough Castle Estate, Westmeath.

Having already revealed their first wave of acts earlier this year, the festival has doubled down on their approach of weaving the best in homegrown talent with cutting edge acts from across the world. Fever Ray, Alison Goldfrapp and The Blaze make up some of the most exciting international acts to head to Ballinlough this summer, with all three performing at the Body & Soul Stgage, while the earlier announcement of the Hennessey Hip Hop House revealed the likes of Kojaque, Denise Chaila and Kneecap.

Elsewhere, Amanda Adé, Louise McSharry, Michael Fry & Killian Sundermann are added to the list of podcasting, guest curators, panel talks and podcasting across the festival.

Other areas announced across the festival include The Beacon Sound System, which is home to the Pagan Rave and hosts Bella Festa, Cian Ó Cíobháin, Kate Brennan Harding, Lolz, Marion Hawkes, Mother DJs, Neil Flynn, The Blessed Madonna, Avalon Emerson, Shanti Celeste, HAAi, Gerd Janson, Gilles Peterson, Efa O’Neill and Sara Miller.

The Hennessey Hip Hop House is home to a huge amount of local talent including Gemma Dunleavy, Aby Coulibaly, Bon Voyage, Celaviedmai, God Knows, JyellowL, MuRli, Nealo, Negro Impacto, RíRá, Ruby Ivy, Strange Boy and Sweetlemondae, as well as DJs like Aoife Nic Canna, Arveene, Bé, Ben Bix x Little O, Billy Scurry, CC, Daddy G, DJ Flip, DJ Mek, DJ Tu-Ki, Glen Brady, Handsome Paddy, Hewan Mulugeta, Mango,  Moving Still, Nightmares on Wax, Queen Beatz, Stevie G Soundsystem and Tee Cardaci. They are also hosting panel discussions, breakdance classes and workshops and District Presents: The Future of Irish Music.
