Bohemians Unveil One-Off Christy Dignam Tribute Kit

Bohemians have just unveiled their new Aslan-themed kit to be worn in the upcoming Dublin Derby as a tribute to the late Christy Dignam.
The new Bohemians kit sports a black and red colourway with “Aslan” across the chest as well as an image of the deceased singer, surrounded by “Christy Dignam, 1960-2023” on the nape. In addition, “Chirsty” replaces the materials logo at the bottom of the shirt.
The club unveiled the shirt on Instagram, stating that the jersey is only set to be worn once, in the Dublin Derby tomorrow.
It is also available for purchase from the Bohemians club store for 70 euro, with sales ending at midnight on Sunday 25 June. All proceeds will be donated to St Francis Hospice in Raheny, which played an instrumental role in Dignam’s palliative care throughout his lengthy battle with cancer..
Since his passing, Christy has been called “a true legend of Irish music” by President Michael D. Higgins.
