Brent Faiyaz drops new album ‘Fuck The World’

Brent’s sophomore LP is here and it’s features an admirable sense of vulnerability.

For many their first encounter with Brent Faiyaz would have been his infectious hook on Goldlink’s Grammy nominated single ‘Crew’. However, he’s been steadily making music since around 2015 and was a founding member of RnB/Soul group Sonder.

He’s been carving out a strong solo career and gained widespread plaudits for his debut LP ‘Sonder Son’. However, with any artist there’s often question marks after only one album to their potential longevity. He’s dismissed any reservations with the release of his second long form album ‘Fuck The World’.

‘Fuck The World,’ sees the crooner open up and it highlights his knack for emotionally conflicted ballads. Sitting at 26 minutes it’s super digestible and it has unquestionable replay value.
