Buy from FC Palestina and support the people of Palestine

Words: Dylan Murphy

A minimum of 20 per cent of profits goes to charities and projects directly supporting Palestinians.

In the face of ongoing atrocities in Jerusalem, your support for the people of Palestine is more important than ever.

At least 43 Palestinians have died since Monday, including 13 children and with tensions only increasing it’s vital to help those in need.

One method of helping financially is to buy from FC Palestina. The project that started in 2015 has been raising awareness for the people of Palestine by creating a variety of football shirts in the traditional colours of the Palestine flag for people to wear and show their support.

Fronted by the word ‘Palestine’ in Arabic many of the shirts also come printed with the number 11 on the back shaped in the map of Palestine.

With a minimum of 20 per cent of profits from sales going directly to charities and projects that support the people of Palestine, it’s a great way to show solidarity whilst contributing financially to help alleviate the day-to-day issues of locals.

Alternative measures that people can take include:

  • Write to your local TD
  • Boycott brands that support the Israel army

Visit The Palestinian Centre For Human Rights for more practical information on how you can help.
