CMAT shares ‘I Don’t Really Care For You’

Words: Dylan Murphy

“This is a bop about realising that everybody can be a bad person”.

Today, Irish singer CMAT has shared her new single ‘I Don’t Really Care For You’.

Taking to social media to share the news, CMAT said, “This is a bop about realising that everybody can be a bad person”.

CMAT captured the hearts of people across Ireland in the past year with her self-deprecating, but never hopeless quips. Formerly of the musical duo The Bad Sea, CMAT came through with her country-fried debut ‘Another Day (KFC)‘ in April 2020 where she sang about crying in KFC and “doubling down on chicken for moral support”.

It follows CMAT’s Very Nice Christmas Show at the tail end of 2020 where she performed with the likes of Pillow Queens, Rachael Lavelle, and Junior Brother.

At the end of 2020, we included CMAT in our Future of Irish Music feature the highlighted the 15 acts ready to take 2021 by storm.
