She’s worked with hyperpop stars like Shygirl and Cobrah and even contributed to the Lady Gaga Chromatica Remix album. Coucou Chloe is taking her eccentric brand of dark glamour to the Bernard Shaw in October.
The Bernard Shaw has announced that London-based DJ Coucou Chloe will headline the Drumcondra venue on Friday October 14th. As part of her recently announced tour, the show marks her first headline show after opening for Dorian Electra’s sold out ‘My Agenda’ Dublin show this April.
In 2021 she self-released her EP ‘One’, featuring tracks like ‘Whizz’ and ‘Dark’ which pay homage to the dark, sensuous aesthetic of underground nightlife.
Taking a zero-fucks approach to genre, Coucou Chloe’s music inhabits the same dark, urban world as Sega and Shygirl – with a dark glamour that could easily make the setlist for a Simone Rocha period fantasy or a Vivienne Westwood show.
She’s worked with everyone from Brooke Candy, her peers at Nuxxe and even Lady Gaga – producing a remix of ‘Stupid Love’ for the remix album of Lady Gaga’s electro-pop sci-fi-fantasy Chromatica. Last Friday she dropped the remix for ‘Whizz’ featuring Swedish hyperpop artist Cobrah, dropping a teaser for the upcoming visual.
