Elzzz and TraviS share surprise video for ‘Vision’

Words: Dylan Murphy

It follows the release of their last collaboration ‘TBH’.

It’s no secret the Irish drill scene has been poppin’ and with all the music coming out there’s always the risk of oversaturation creeping in. One way to battle it is to take the path less travelled, whether that’s with visuals, production or whatever else you can to stand out amongst the seemingly endless amount of rappers.

For TraviS and Elzzz, they’ve built a working relationship that accentuates their disparate deliveries and in their second link up they’ve headed to exotic settings for their latest video.

Directed by Robert Bass, Eoin Byrne and Sam Fallover, the visuals sees the duo bounce between quarries, deserts and greenery exchanging bars with the fluidity of championship-winning strike partnership. Additionally, the track is filled with football references to match, with nods to Patrice Evra and Martin Ødegaard throughout.

If you are unfamiliar with the rise of Irish Drill, check out our introductory piece on the scene here.
