Frankie Wolf releases 10-track project ‘Smiling Politely’

“The album title is a nod to The Simpsons, but also about how it’s easier to put on a smile and avoid life’s problems.”

Earlier this month  Wicklow artist Frankie Wolf shared his debut piece of music in the form of music video ‘Waiting’, “a melty stream of consciousness” which drew influence from comic books, film and pop culture.

He confirmed a full-length project would be arriving shortly after via Irish label Evenings & Weekends and now that collection of tracks has landed. Frankie began writing ‘Smiling Politely’ four years ago during a period of grieving, with the process bringing him through a journey through “life, death, love, lust, dependancies and enlightenment”.

“10 tracks about trying to forget, remember and let go.
The album title is a nod to The Simpsons, but also about how it’s easier to put on a smile and avoid life’s problems.”

The project is produced entirely by Jon Candi, check it out below and click here to grab a t-shirt featuring the excellent album artwork.
