Ghetts shares long-awaited album ‘Conflict of Interest’

Words: Dylan Murphy

The record features Giggs, Dave, Skepta, Pa Salieu and more.

UK lynchpin Ghetts has started 2021 strong. Following a string of impressive singles in 2020, he’s shared his latest album Conflict of Interest.

Featuring Pa Salieu, Stormzy, Giggs, Dave, Skepta, Jaykae, Emeli Sandé, Wretch 32, Moonchild Sanelly among others, it’s cemented his place as one of the most important figures in the increasingly influential scene.

The east-Londoner dropped an incredible video for the genre-agnostic hit ‘Mozambique‘ last year and most recently shared ‘No Mercy’.

Back in 2005, before he switched his name to Ghetts, a young rapper known as Ghetto released his debut mixtape, 2000 & Life.  Since then he’s gone on to release 5 further mixtapes, 3 studio albums, without compromising on his message.

Listen to Conflict of Interest below:

Elsewhere, we spoke to slowthai about his soul searching in an attempt to reconcile with one of pop culture’s most divisive characters.
