Haddington House Launch “Parlour Cocktail Hour”

From 17:00 – 18:00 every Tuesday to Friday, Haddington House will give you complimentary snacks with your first cocktail, spritzer, mixed drink or wine order.

This is a walk-in-only affair, so booking isn’t necessary. Just walk straight through the velvet curtain, and they’ll be waiting for you on the other side. Their head mixologist, Anton, entered the World Class cocktail competition. So you know the cocktails are good.

Haddington House is an independent forty-five-bedroom hotel across four Victorian townhouses in Dún Laoghaire. It’s home to Oliveto. Oliveto is a Michelin-acclaimed Italian-inspired neighbourhood restaurant that is honest, seasonal and quality focused. It is sea-facing with panoramic views overlooking beautiful Dublin Bay. It was nominated for Restaurant of the Year 2022.

Haddington House started life as four large houses for military officers who were overseeing the building of Dún Laoghaire Harbour. The houses merged to become a ladies’ college in the late 1880s and were then converted into a seafront house-hotel in the early 1900s.

It’s typically well booked so it’s nice to have a walk-in reason to soak up some excess.
