Happyalone. share self-destructive ‘i need more than drugs (just to get me through the night)’

A raw and warped record that bleeds honesty.

It’s been a busy 12 months for Happyalone. The trio are hot off the back of a recent collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon and are starting the decade as the mean to go on.

Their latest record ‘i need more than drugs (just to get me through the night)’ recalls the darkest moments in a deep rooted depression. The thumping 808s and ethereal vocals paint an otherworldly state of mind and highlight the boy’s knack for creating immersive sounds.

Success can run parallel to turbulant times and difficult emotions and they aren’t afraid to express this myriad of feelings.

“We’re trying to shed light on how polarising life can be, how the “best” thing in your life can be happening to you whilst you’re on the verge of a nervous breakdown”.

Happyalone.’s honest affirmations, eclectic production and genre bending ideals are making them a force to be reckoned with. They trio are currently piecing together their debut EP which will be self released on Real Fear Records mid Spring ‘20.

Keep an eye out for them in 2020.
