Hennessy Lost Friday returns to RHA Gallery with Wastefellow, Ships & more

Ships, Wastefellow, DJ Hula Hoop & more to descend on the RHA Gallery next Friday.

We were at the inaugural Hennessy Lost Friday at the beginning of 2016, and it was clear then they were onto something special. Click here to read a review of that evening.

It’s since developed into a showcase for experimental Irish music and alternative Irish culture.

It returns to the RHA Gallery for its summer edition next Friday July 7 from 7.45pm ’til late.

They’ve once again recruited a line up of artists that they feel best represent the alternative landscape of Irish music.

They have Simon Cullen and Sorca McGrath performing under their Ships moniker. They released their impressive debut album back in May, which you can pick up on wax or download below.

They also have one of our absolute favourite homegrown artists in Wastefellow, who’ll bring his experimental take on electronica/spacey R&B to the RHA Gallery.

Rounding things off, DJ Hula Hoop will bring the good times for an extended set.

You can also go on a walking tour of the RHA Annual Exhibition with Director Patrick T. Murphy, or watch as an artist creates a 3D artwork using Google’s Tilt Brush.

Tickets €20 plus booking fee and include two complimentary Hennessy cocktails. The Lost Fridays party in March sold out, so make sure you grab your tickets in advance. Click here for more.
