Absolut Spotlight: Acts You Can’t Miss At Mother’s Pride Block Party

Mother’s Block Party is returning once again with Absolut as the largest ticketed event for Pride celebrations in Ireland. Consistency is key and you can always count on Mother to provide a diverse lineup satisfying the masses and giving nods to queer art history. Here are some of our picks for 28 June at Mother’s Block Party.

Emmy Shigeta

Emmy is our Lo-Fi queen. Hailing from Japan, she’s a mainstay resident DJ in various tastemaker spots in Dublin, including Fidelity and Allta. Her sets are full of eclecticisms, drawing on her cultural roots and further afield. A simple listen to her Dublin Digital Radio sets will have you floating to city pop and ambient sounds.

Culchie Goth

“Fiddle artist. Limerick Diva”. Combining the art of a trad seisiún and classic rave sounds is pure genius. We’re big fans of intertwining Irish heritage with the contemporary, and this is exemplified perfectly by Culchie Goth. Fiddle + Donk = match made in heaven.

Haus of Wig

Haus of Wig is one of Ireland’s most prominent drag collectives. Be engulfed in the HAUSPARTY and join Irish drag acts such as Shaqira Knightly, Naomi Diamond and Donna Fella. After supporting Chappell Roan on her Dublin date last year, momentum has been strong for the Haus.

All these acts will be performing at Mother’s Block Party on 28 June. It’s a celebration spread across multiple stages, with arts, food, Absolut drinks and free merch sprinkled in between. To grab tickets to Mother’s Pride Block Party with Absolut, click here.
