Coffee has been on the steady climb towards a fiver for a few months now, with milky coffees hitting that four-seventy-five mark. These two businesses have seen our outrage and have done their best to help us get that fix.

Ann’s Bakery has brought all coffee down to two quid before ten am in the morning in all their locations.

Ann’s Bakery is a family-owned business that was established over 40 years ago. They have been on Mary St since 1974 and are the only remaining store on the street from that period.

They are a Dublin institution and even have a production bakery along with a bakery shop and restaurant/deli that serves soup, sandwiches and hot meals throughout the day. All the goods they sell are baked on-site using traditional techniques from the finest ingredients.

They now have three locations, 41 Mary Street, Moore Street and 26 North Earl Street. So pop in before ten and nab yourself a budget-friendly caffeinated beverage.

Network Café on Aungier Street is also going all in on the inflation-buster train and has launched a happy hour coffee discount. From 14:00 – 16:00 every day, all coffees come in at a reduced rate, with Americanos kicking off at two fiddy.
