Here’s our picks for the final Bandcamp Friday of 2020

Words: Dylan Murphy

Artists get 100% of profits from sales of theiir music and merch on Bandcamp today and we’ve listed some we think you should cop.

2020 has been horrible for people in the creative industry. With no live shows, sound technician’s, stage crews, artists and venue staff have been without work for the majority of the year.

A saving grace for artists across the board has been the introduction of Bandcamp’s promise to give all profits from sales on the first Friday of every month to artists. That means if you buy one of their records, every single penny of the profit goes straight into their pocket. It could be the difference between your favourite act continuing to create and stay afloat in the midst of the pandemic.

Today, is the last edition of Bandcamp Fridays in 2020 and we’ve selected a few of our favourite records this year that you can purchase online.
