Jägermeister Are Awarding An Up And Coming DJ €2000, A Gig Slot and Professional Coverage
Over the past three years, Jägermeister’s SAVETHENIGHT series has been all about laying a foundation for Ireland’s nightlife to flourish. We’re seeing so many fantastic DJs, live performers and collectives come up through the Irish nightlife scene, so let’s give them the platform they deserve.
As a pillar of Jägermeister’s SAVETHENIGHT campaign, the SAVETHENIGHT Future Fund is a Jägermeister initiative created to support the next generation of nightlife talent. One up-and-coming DJ will receive €2,000, an opening slot at The Grand Social on 21 October alongside Shampain and EMA, and a District artist spotlight with social coverage.
Applications are open to DJs aged 18+ and close on Sunday 27 September, with the winner announced on Friday 2 October.

To apply for the SAVETHENIGHT Future Fund, you need to submit a 30-minute mix recorded in video format and fill out our form, telling us about your passion for nightlife advocacy and how nightlife intertwines with your own creative work.

We get it by now. Nightlife is not the most hospitable in Dublin. Fewer than 100 nightclubs remain in Ireland, and 84% have closed in the past 25 years. A lot of the time, if you want to create something special, you have to build it from the ground up. It’s rare to see a helping hand given like this.
Through the SAVETHENIGHT Future Fund, Jägermeister is looking for an up-and-coming DJ who is passionate about music curation and wants to progress their nightlife career. The winner will receive €2,000 towards their creative work, the chance to perform on a real stage in front of a real crowd, and an artist spotlight and social coverage across District, Ireland’s biggest music and culture platform. It’s support designed to carry beyond the night itself.
This October, Save The Night heads to Galway (SULT, 7 October), Cork (Voodoo Rooms, 12 October) and Dublin (The Grand Social, 21 October), spotlighting some of the most exciting names in Irish electronic music. On 21 October, Irish tastemakers Shampain and EMA will be joined by the SAVETHENIGHT Future Fund winner as their opening act in Dublin’s Grand Social.
Previous SAVETHENIGHT events have brought local acts together to enrich Ireland’s nightlife. Irish acts such as Kaycee, DART, Imogen and many more have graced the Jägermeister stage.
