Jameson Connects brings SOAK and Soda Blonde together for an exclusive gig

As part of the Jameson’s Connects series, two of the country’s most celebrated acts are joining forces for an evening of special performances on Monday 13 March in The Camden, Dublin.

If we were to design a Venn diagram comprising of SOAK and Soda Blonde’s music, the intersection would say something like “Headphone music”. While both have become some of the country’s most celebrated acts on their own terms, their own distinct brands of storytelling share the same intimate quality that is best experienced with a pair of headphones and no interruptions. The only way to level this experience up is in the flesh and with that in mind, Jameson has linked the two acts together for a special, small-capacity performance in The Camden, Dublin.

The event takes place on Monday, March 13 to kick off St. Patrick’s celebrations and enlists support from X Collective and DJ R3D. As part of the ongoing collaborations series, both SOAK and Soda Blonde will perform a cover of an iconic Irish song, and Jameson will be on hand with food and refreshments.

In 2016 Derry native SOAK won the RTÉ Choice Prize for album of the year for Before We Forgot How To Dream and most recently released their album If I never know you like this again via Rough Trade in 2022. Elsewhere, Soda Blonde released their RTÉ Choice Prize-nominated album Small Talk back in 2021 and toured the album across the country afterward.

With limited tickets available, interested persons can apply on the Jameson Connects website and enter a comp to win tickets for themselves and their friends.
