Jamz Supernova launches DIY Handbook podcast season 2

Words: Dylan Murphy

After covering DJ Mag and delivering an essential mix, BBC 1Xtra and Radio 6 DJ Jamz Supernova is joined by Conducta, Otegha Uwagba and more in series two of her podcast.

Over the next eight weeks, Jamz Supernova is set to untangle the music industry, explore how to create safe spaces online and examine a host of other topics as part of her DIY Handbook podcast. The podcast invites guests from across different industries in search of providing answers for creatives, dreamers and anyone looking for advice in an increasingly digital world. The first episode, which is available today, features Adrienne LDN and explores self care in the internet era and comes ahead of further episodes with Conducta, Sam InterfaceChanté Joseph, Toni Tone, and Sunday Times Best Selling author, Otegha Uwagba.

It comes after a huge year for the DJ who made the cover of DJ Mag, celebrated a decade in radio and launched her podcast.

Full episode lineup:

Monday 25 April – Adrienne Herbert – Self Care 101
Monday 2 May – Otegha Uwagba  Money Talk
Monday 9 May – Percelle Ascott  – Rejection – How To Bounce Back

Speaking on the DIY Handbook, Jamz Supernova says, “In this season we get a little bit deeper and more personal as I look back on the lessons I’ve taken to build my career. Expect to hear honest conversations around the mistakes I have made in chasing my dreams and no nonsense straight to the point advice from my guests. This podcast is for the creative, business entrepreneur and dream chasers. If there is a lesson to learn, a block in the road or problem to solve, hopefully you’ll find words of encouragement in one of these episodes!”

Elsewhere, Jamz Supernova plays with Patterns, Brighton on May 21 and is set to perform at a packed lineup at Beyond The Pale in June.
