Kendrick Lamar teases a possible album release on ‘The Heart Part 4’

This is big. Mark your calendars.

Kendrick Lamar’s just dropped his first taste of music since his surprise collection of B-sides ‘Untitled Unmastered’ in March last year.

‘The Heart Part 4’ sees Kendrick take on Trump, “whites who dab”, Drake, and interpolates 21 Savage’s ‘No Heart’, while flipping between several distinct sounds and styles in the five minute track.

The track finishes with the line ‘Y’all got until April 7th to get your shit together’. We’re distinctly hoping for a new album, and after his latest interview where he stated ““I think now, how wayward things have gone within the past few months, my focus is ultimately going back to my community”, so whether this date is new music from the Compton native or something else entirely, we’ll have to wait and see.
