KHAKIKID to perform at new Dublin City Hip Hop Festival this year

The Good Buzz member is bringing his energetic brand of punk-rap to Dublin’s newest hip hop festival.

Last week we revealed ‘Godfather of Irish drill’ INK as the first act to play at the Irish festival circuit’s newest addition Dublin City Hip Hop Festival. Following his appearance in a new Noisey documentary it’s clear the spitter is at the forefront of a blossoming new scene.

The interest in hip hop in Ireland is at an all-time high and the emergence of the new festival is a welcome new asset to the booming musical landscape.

The festival have now revealed that Good Buzz member KHAKIKID is the second artist to be added to the festival bill this year.

Having recently sold out his headline show in Whelan’s, the rapper is bringing his inimitable energy to The Sound House in May this year.

Dublin City Hip Hop Festival was created to showcase the best Irish Hip Hop Artists to a wide audience.

The event takes place on Friday 1 May 2020 in The Sound House, Eden Quay.
