Logic1000 releases ‘I Won’t Forget’

Words: Dylan Murphy

It comes after the Berlin-based producer remixed tracks for Caribou, Christine and the Queens and Don Toliver.

Sydney-born Berlin-based producer Samantha Poulter AKA Logic1000 has announced her forthcoming EP You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go with a brand new single ‘I Won’t Forget’.

Featuring euphoric vocals and a seismic crescendo after a patient build up, the track comes via Logic1000’s Therapy imprint.

Speaking on the track she said, “I wanted to create a mood that was hopeful for a brighter future. I look forward to playing this one in a festival setting. Hoping to get everyone’s hands in the air!”

“If at any moment I felt inspired or motivated to make music, I would jump into my home studio,” she says, “this gave me a sense of purpose while the world seemed to be falling apart”. “You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go seems to have more consistency. I can’t quite put my finger on what that sonic consistency is, but I notice it’s there”.

The track follows an explosive few years for the producer, following nods from Four Tet, who included her music in his Coachella set and support from other tastemakers such as Annie Mac, Floating Points and Caribou.
