Mac Miller’s breakthrough tape ‘K.I.D.S’ is now available on Spotify

Almost 10 years later, Mac’s fan favourite is available on the streaming platform.

Benjy Grinberg, the founder of Rostrum records confirmed last year on Instagram that Mac Miller’s ‘K.I.D.S’ would be coming to streaming services at the end of 2019.

Grinberg said in the initial post, “After Macadelic came out, Mac asked if we could clear this one next. It has been challenging but we are getting through it. We miss Mac every day and we see our job as making sure his music lives on. We love you, Mac.”

Arriving a little later than hoped, the mixtape has landed today minus two tracks – ‘Traffic in the Sky’ and ‘La La La’, presumably due to problems with clearing samples.

An added bonus for fans to celebrate the mixtape’s arrival on Spotify is the upload of his music video for ‘Don’t Mind If I Do’ to Youtube in HD.

‘K.I.D.S.’ was was the first in a number of early successes for Mac and having dropped in August 2010 it set the stage for the late rapper’s career.
